It was a lovely evening. Food was very good. The service was very good. The prices were very steep. I had to sell my car to pay for it. We had a great time. We’ll go back again, but I think we ordered too many appetizers !

I have eaten in many steak houses both in the US and overseas. This is by far one of the best ribeye steaks I have ever eaten. It was extremely tender and flavorful, juicy and cooked to perfection (medium-rare.) The service was top notch, and all the sides, appetizers and drinks were just perfect. No note to improve any of them. Gardel is a gem in the Fairfax area, it is not a huge restaurant, the main dining room can probably accommodate between 60-70 people. The vibe is very European, not to be missed.

Beautiful restaurant with a new beautiful patio. Awesome service with a great selection of wine especially Argentinian wine. Out of this world food, desserts and presentation. The espresso topped it all. The VIP treatment made us feel very much at home. This place is a must.

We ate inside at 5 pm, which we highly recommend because it was very quiet. At abt 7 pm, it was noisy - there was an accordian player and the tables were occupied. Nevertheless, this restaurant is a gem. The ambience makes it very special. We have not yet eaten in the outside patio but we understand that it is covered & heated. There is valet parking on Melrose.
